Summary: Very nice hotel on the sea front. Our room was comfortable and we had a balcony. They managed to fit us in the restaurant, even though it was late and they were fully booked. We had been travelling all day from England. The food was a little pretentious for our taste, but the wine was excellent.

Summary: The hotel is in a superb position at the centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Our Superieure room on the 2nd floor faced the sea and was quiet and comfortable. There is a large public car park about 300m away, or parking in adjacent streets. Parking is free outside July and August. Breakfast was good, with a range of bread, baked goods, savouries, etc., although the fresh fruit selection was uninspired. The carpet in our room was quite marked, but otherwise all was in good condition.

Summary: It was a lovely hotel right on the front. The room was good and the reception staff were attentive and helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant as we didn't really like what was on the menu, although this seems to be quite similar wherever you go. The bed was a little too hard, as were the pillows but appreciate this is a personal preference. We would stay here again although would try and get one of the rooms with a balcony

Summary: Our two-night stay was fine. Good position right on the beach, and pleasant staff. We ate in the restaurant on the second night: the cooking was excellent, but the service was very slow, and dogs in the restaurant are something we would prefer not to encounter. Beware that the hotel has no parking — you have to find a spot in a nearby street. Outside July-August, this is fortunately free!

Summary: Overlooking the beach. You can leave the car parked as easy to get around, train in walking distance, takes 10 mins in it to get into centre of Le Rochelle. It was perfect
